One of Greendale's trademarks is their offseason training. This is the kind of hard work it takes to be consistently competitive every year. On July 12th, 13th and 14th, the coaches, under the direction of Scott Bond, along with the help of past alumni, held a linemen's mini camp for grades 8 through 12. Forty two athletes signed up and were shown various tricks and techniques that will help them be better football players. "We were quite pleased at this year's turn out", coach Bond said. "This gave us some quality time to show the guys techniques that we use so that we can keep this show moving. What made this even more successful was having some of our past players here to help out. I wouldn't have been able to do this just by myself. That's what makes Greendale so special."

This is the first of two mini camps that are planed for this year. The second one will be for all positions on July 23rd through the 26th. Between these camps, weightlifting and speed training, the one thing that the coaches won't have to worry about will be being ready for this year's up and coming season.
