The game pits all-state players from the north and from the south. These gentlemen are selected by coaches throughout the state based on the merits that they have earned. Then these players come together for a week with a group of specially selected coaches to form a football team. Each year in July, these teams come to UW-Oshkosh and play each other one last time as a high school player. From here, they will go their separate ways and leave high school football behind. Most of these guys are college bound and of those, some will move up to the next level and play college football. Some won't. At the end of the day it is just an amazing experience they get to enjoy one last time.

This is not just a football game however. It is also a fundraiser as well. Each player and coach are asked to solicit donations that will be compiled and presented to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. So really, it doesn't mater who wins the game because the real winners are the boys and girls that benefit from Children's Hospital and the wonderful services they provide.

This year, the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) decided to do something different. They broke the all-state list into 2 games. The first game was played at 2:00pm and included players from division's 4, 5, 6, and 7. In that game, the South beat the North 14-7. For more details, click here.
