"NEVER AGAIN" is the catch phrase that will be used for the 2009 Greendale Panther football season. A saying that is meant to mean that they will not let another conference championship slip by. Greendale won 3 conference championships in a row before losing just one game last year to New Berlin Eisenhower. As it ended up, Pewaukee beat Eisenhower thus earning the championship honors. Greendale later beat Pewaukee in the playoffs, but that would have nothing to do with the conference crown.

Greendale has officially begun their practice for this season. For the 2nd year in a row, the coaches took the entire team out to Carroll College in Waukesha for the first two two-a-day practices. The guys would practice on the main playing field on Tuesday, spend the night in the actual dorms, and then practice on Wednesday before coming back to Greendale early Wednesday evening.
