How the artificial turf field at Gavinski Stadium came to be.

A new look for Greendale High School's "Stephen J Gavinski Stadium"
Several years ago, the Greendale School Board challenged residents to get involved in making the district and its programs better than they already were. Greendale residents are known to take pride in what they have and they appreciate what they have. They believe very strongly in the educational system and the programs here. Well, the Greendale Panther Touchdown Club answered that challenge and went forth on a mission that would solve one of these issues. They put together a plan to see if they could replace the old conventional field with a more durable turf field. With the help of the Greendale School District and generous private donations from people and organizations who care about the community, the necessary funds were achieved and a new state-of-the-art turf field was put in.
